ABOUT THE ATTORNEY

Maja Bilić Paulić graduated from the University integrated undergraduate and graduate study of Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb in 2011, and in terms of academic success, she was among the top 3% of students of her generation.

As an ERASMUS scholarship holder, she attended the student exchange programme at the Faculty of Law of the University of Biccoca in Milan, Italy, and participated in the work of the Law Clinic of the Faculty of Law, first as a student clinician, and then as a student mentor and academic mentor in the Group for discrimination and minority rights and in the Group for the protection of employees’ rights.

After completing her internship as a trainee lawyer in a renowned law firm in Zagreb specializing in intellectual property law and commercial law, she passed the bar exam at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia with extraordinary success.

Maja Bilić Paulić gained further practice and experience by working in other law firms and as a senior analyst in the Department of Legal Affairs of the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments. In 2023, Maja Bilić Paulić established her own law office with its headquarters in Zagreb.

Maja Bilić Paulić successfully completed the mediator training at the Croatian Mediation Association and became a certified mediator. She improves her professional skills regularly by attending numerous trainings, seminars and conferences in the field of her interest and activities. In 2016, she enrolled in the post-graduate interdisciplinary specialist study of Intellectual Property at the University of Zagreb and is intensively engaged in professional and scientific work, mainly in the field of intellectual property, personal data protection and media law, publishing expert papers in leading legal publications of the Republic of Croatia.
